Our Twinspace This is just a draft!
We've been working on the Twinspace to give the opportunity to our partners to join in our activities, but this is only the draft of the work on sustainability. The final product is going to be an interactive guide, where we will add the most interesting activities to the Wiki.

The Project
We are still working on last year program:
"European and International Sustainability".
This year we concentrate in the international side of Sustainability, we will work on the unfair distribution of wealth around the world.
Once Students had a brief introduction about the school, the city, the country...
We started working on the subject, with a debate about the causes for the inequality in the world.
We went to do a field-trip about the subject. We planned to make activities concerning the visit to three different types of NGOs:
"Amnisty International" on Human Rights, "Mugan Gainetik " on empowering women and "Surfriders" a NGO working on environmental issues.
We visited an exhibition, had some clues about the work is done in a NGO and watched some videos concerning the pollution in the sea.
Later we worked in pairs about the subject to produce some final products with students appreciation on the subject, their opinion, their expectations, proposed ideas...

Back to Work
Monday we came back to school.
We had a general introduction made by students about Basque Country's culture and Language.
Mr Alberdi, history teacher made a presentation about the Spanish Civil War and the bombardment of Gernika (preparation of Tuesday Field-trip).
Then We had a Walk through San Sebastian paying attention to the open air sculptures. From the Comb of the Wind to the Holy Heart.
On Tuesday we went to visit The Tree of Gernika, to learn about Basque ancient culture.
We had a second visit, the Peace Museum. Gernika Peace Museum is a theme museum setting out the culture of peace. It was inspired by the tragic bombing of Gernika, trying to merge History and Peace. It is a place to think about violence reasons and consequences.
Finally we went to Bilbao to have a look to the impressive Guggenheim Museum. There it was finished the Fieltrip to Bizkaia. But the day was not finished yet! We had another surprise ahead.
Once we were back to San Sebastian, Basque students prepared a delicious supper in a gastronomic society of the Old Town. Bon Appetitte!
